Join YPN as we kick off a series of events designed to shock and awe! South Bend/Mishawaka offers a diverse assortment of programs in the performing and fine arts, thanks to area colleges and numerous local and regional organizations. It’s time to get out there and get cultured!

At 6:30 p.m., meet fellow YPs and friends for some networking and drinks at The Vine, 103 W. Colfax in South Bend. At 7:30, we’ll make our way over to the South Bend Civic Theatre where stage curtains will open at 8:00 p.m. for the performance of Rent.

In the show, seven friends struggle through the tumultuous challenges of our time — a world where dreams survive muggings and starvation, where friendships withstand homelessness, where AIDS and abiding love live side by side, where drugs and sex are tempting distractions from life’s harsh realities… but, finally, where guardian angels still exist. Incredible music, absorbing story, fascinating characters … A surging, life-confirming powerhouse of a musical, loosely based on the heart-pounding story from La Boheme.

Cost is $16 per person. Ticket sales are final and no refunds or exchanges will be given. If you choose to pay at the door and do not attend, an invoice will be mailed to you and will include a $3.00 invoice fee.
